Meta Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: September 4, 2026

Translations are provided for convenience. Where permitted by applicable law, the English version controls if there is a conflict. Nothing in this notice limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

1. Overview

These instructions explain how to request deletion of data that SEED holds in connection with a Facebook Page or Threads account.

2. How to Request Deletion

  1. Email hello@withseed.app from the email address on your SEED account. Use the subject β€œMeta data deletion request.”
  2. Include your SEED account email and the connected Facebook Page name or Threads username.
  3. If you cannot send the request from that address, include enough information for us to verify account ownership.

3. Data We Delete

  • The connected Facebook Page or Threads account identifier, name or username, URL, granted scopes, and encrypted access token.
  • The related SEED social connection and destination records.
  • Meta-specific publication identifiers, links, and delivery records held for that connection.
  • SEED-owned drafts and account data are not automatically deleted by a social-provider deletion request unless you ask for full account deletion.

4. What Happens Next

We will confirm the request by email, stop using the affected connection, and remove or de-identify Meta-linked data from active systems. We may retain limited information required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups, or legal obligations. Backup copies may remain until normal expiry. Disconnecting a provider in SEED stops future use, but it is not a full deletion request.

5. Full SEED Account Deletion

To delete your entire SEED account and its user data, email the same address and state that you want full account deletion. Account deletion is subject to limited security, dispute, backup, and legal-retention exceptions.
